Hennessey has kept tweaking the Mustang to create the 774-horsepower HPE750. The supercharged pony car recently hit a GPS-verified 207.9 miles per hour at the Continental Tire Proving Grounds in Texas, and it was all captured on video.

John Hennessey took his personal 2015 HPE700 Supercharged Ford Mustang to the Continental Tire Proving Grounds in Texas to see just how fast the muscle car would go. It managed 195.4 miles per hour when it hit the limiter going down the straight.

John Hennessey recently returned to the Texas Mile with his 700-horsepower Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon for another shot at high-speed glory. The long-roof rocket managed to clip off a top speed of 189.7 miles per hour in the standing mile, which beat out last year's figure by a safe margin.
