This air intake guides airflow into a coolbox filled with water and ice. Cool air is then directed to the driver's perforated seat, into his helmet and into his coolsuit.

The 1.7-inch restrictor, as mandated by the governing body for the CTS-V Coupe to conform to the equivalency formula, cuts horsepower down to 460. The street car, which is also supercharged, has 556 horsepower.
