The mighty Ford F-Series pickup truck has been the best-selling vehicle in America for 38 straight years. So it's no surprise to see it back on the top of the list in 2014.
But it wasn't all good news for Ford's pickup in 2014. Sales were down 1.3 percent last year, much of which is due to a brand-new version of the F-150 coming in 2015. Still, the F-Series racked up 753,851 total sales, which equals an astounding 2,065.3 sales per day, every day, all year.
The F-150 was slightly refreshed in 2013, adding some new features and tweaking the exterior. The F-150 is available in several distinctive trims. These include the XL, STX, XLT, FX, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and the Limited. For the off-road extremist, the segment exclusive SVT Raptor is available and delivers both outstanding off-road capabilities and daily use characteristics.
