- Welcome to the interior of a 2020 O Lincoln Navigator. Today we're going to be going over the infotainment system, which, in this vehicle, is called a SYNC 3. However, since we're in a Lincoln, this is a re-skinned version of SYNC 3. Basically, it just means it has different colors, it's fancier, it has a few different features that are pertinent to luxury car buyers.

So we'll start by going over the layout. This is your basic home screen right here, and the most important buttons are along the bottom. All your Quick Access panels. So we'll start audio right here. Pretty basic audio setup. Very easy to read. You can change your source right up there. Very clear, obvious, it doesn't make you dig through settings or anything like that. I like it.

The next one, Climate. So you can adjust your climate control through the infotainment system, but I find that just using the hard buttons down here is a lot easier. So really no need to mess with it through here.

Phone, pretty basic. If I had a phone paired, you'd be able to make phone calls, answer text messages through voice, et cetera. And, of course, this car has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, both wired not wireless.

Next, Nav. So this is a pretty standard navigation screen. Pinch to zoom. You see it. It reacts decently quick to my pinching and zooming here. The Search function I really like. You can just type in pretty much anything. It's almost like a Google search in Google Maps, and it will bring up a number of different results, and it has been pretty reliable so far.

Next Apps. This is also pretty basic. You have [INAUDIBLE] and travel link.

And then the final tab, Settings. A couple things I'll point out here. One, way at the end, ambient lighting. So you have a number of lights that you can choose from here. Not as many as Mercedes or other luxury cars, but you still get a pretty decent selection.

And finally, I will also point out a couple Lincoln luxury features. So the Seats button here. You can access, so you get to adjusting your lumbar support and the very, very customizable seats through here. And then there's also a massage function that you can turn on via here or all the way on the other side here. You can adjust via these buttons on the door that do the same thing that you can toggle through just via hard buttons instead of the touch screen.

But we'll turn massaging off for right now and move over to the instrument cluster, which, just like the infotainment system, very, very minimalist. So you'll see just a basic tack and a super basic speedo there. Thankfully you do have a digital speedometer, so you're not wondering what's in between those 20 mile per hour segments.

You do all your customization of a layout via this little arrow button here with the back on the steering wheel. There really isn't a whole lot you can do here, so here I will scroll through the various screens using that little toggle switch, Trip 1, Trip 2, get some fuel economy information. All around pretty basic layout. There just isn't a ton of customization, like, say, Mercedes or BMW you can swap through totally different screens. But it looks good, it's clean, and it feels like Lincoln's own brand of luxury.

So overall, I really really like the setup. The screen, one thing I wish is that it was a little closer to me. I'm not that short of a guy, and I still have to like really reach my hand out there to reach the top right of the screen or the bottom right. So other than that proximity thing, I think this is a fantastic setup, and, yeah, SYNC wins again.
