Tesla - How does Tesla’s AutoPilot work?

Can anyone detail how Tesla’s AutoPilot works?

  • The simple answer is that a combination of cameras and radar sensors reads the road and the surrounding traffic. Then it all gets processed by the car's computer to figure out where the lanes are and what other cars are doing. It then adjust the steering, brakes, and accelerator as needed to keep the car on the road.
