How can you not love it?

WE have a cabin in the mountains of North Carolina where snow and mud combined with steep inclinces make driving very dangerous at times. The Subaru has never let us down. It also very comfortable and quiet on the 800 mile trip from our primary residence. It is more like a car and less like a truck until you need the fantastic 4 wheel drive and stability control systems. When this one breathes its last breath, I'll be right back at the Subaru dealer for another one.

Love My Tribeca
I got my 2007 Tribeca in june of 07. I love this thing. the handling is amazing. i have a lead foot and i dont mind the poor gas mileage (average 19 mpg), because i know the all wheel drive will keep me safe when im driving lake a mad man.
it seams like every week i find a new feature i didnt even know about. the interior is great. the driver seat is sooo comfortable, however the back seats are rather hard(for child safety seats)and i do wish the safety seats were optional. AIR BAGS EVERYWHERE! one of the safest vehicles on the road.
I have a tow package and last month i was driving home down the santiam pass and i ended up pulling an older jeep Cherokee out of a ditch with very little effort. it definitely has power. the guy didnt think i would be able to pull him out with a subaru. showed him!
Blind to buy it?
I wonder if mr auto critic has ever sat in, much less driven a B9 Tribeca. You can buy chuck, or you can buy filet mignon, after all they are both red meat. To compare a Kia or a hyundai to the Subaru is uninformed at best. This is the best handling most well balanced crossover I have driven. Absolutely outstanding computer controled awd. I passed jeeps and tahoes stuck in the snow on the way to our mountain vacation home. What quality, what fit and finish.I test a bunch of cars before I settled on this one.
VERY HAPPY WITH MY 2006
MY ONLY COMPLAINT WITH STYLING IS THE NOSE. I SEE THAT HAS NOW BEEN CHANGED. I HAVE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS ON THIS CAR AND HAVE BEEN ASKED IF IT WAS A LEXUS. IT'S THE OLE "EYE OF THE BEHOLDER".
ITS VERY COMFORTABLE TO DRIVE AND THE HANDLING IS MORE THAN AMPLE. DETAIL SUCH AS INTERIOR FIT AND FUNCTION IS VERY GOOD AS IS THE BODY WORK. ITS LARGER THAN THE CROSSOVER SUV'S AND HAS MORE HP THAN MOST. MY ONLY COMPLIANT IS THE GAS MILEAGE. MY GUESS IS THAT THE WEIGHT WHICH IS OVER 4000 LBS REDUCES THE MILEAGE BUT IMPROVES THE RIDE AND SAFETY. AFTER ALL, MILEAGE IS NOT EVERYTHING. THIS IS ACTUALLY THE BEST "OVERALL" CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED.
This is the ugliest and most overpriced vehicle there is. You can get a Hundai or Kia for at least $5000 to $7000 cheaper. Interior, do not even get me started. A person has to be blind to buy this car.
it has some plastic but nothing as bad as some toyotas or hondas. the worst plastc look was by far the torrent (good move gm). its a shame thatt to make money everyone has cheapened the car to a point where even the plastic looks like crap. the tribeca drives great due ti its powertrain. the gas milage stinks at best. its nimble enough to have fun. i set the cruise at 75 and weaved my way towards atlantic city.
