A Piece of Junk

Please do not waste your money on this vehicle, or any of the Freelanders for that matter. There is a transmission/cooling problem that is a design defect. My car has less than 75K miles on it and the engine is warped! It costs more to fix than what the car is worth. Since my car hit 60K miles, it was one problem after another, all having to do with it overheating. I kept taking it to the dealer, and a week and a half after the last visit (and $3000 later), I was told that the engine was shot. Thanks for nothing. Now for the class action...

I purchased a 2002 Land Rover, one of the biggest mistakes of my life what a peice of crap, sunroof when I got it did not work, repaired twice still not working, brake light do not work at all , fuses blow all the time. All the window get stuck in down position, heat shield went on car at 70,000. miles LandRover would not ocver under warranty, isn't that emissions, but no, car overheated from water pump rotting right off the head, had to have the head redone, O2 sensor there are four when one geoes they all have to be replaced, currently, the car is uninspected, because it will not pass emissions inspection, too many fail codes do not buy one Land Rover will not stand behind their product, they are the worst car ever, think you are making an investment well your not, this car will bleed you dry and Land Rover does not car all they car about is getting their money when you buy oh and incidently I paid over $14,000.00 for the vehicle and in two years have fromApril 2007 to April 2009 have put $10,000.00 into it and it is still uninspected becuase i can afford to repair it. They see you coming.
