2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

The Toyota Highlander Hybrid is based on the popular Highlander SUV, boasting a more environmentally-friendly gas-electric hybrid engine that delivers excellent fuel economy and lower emissions. There are several trim levels offered on the 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid: LE, XLE, Limited and Platinum trim levels. It employs an advanced Hybrid Synergy Drive system ? a 295-hp 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine with a high-torque electric drive motor-generator ? producing 306 net horsepower and mated to an electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission. Trim specific standard equipment includes 18-inch wheels, an Entune stereo with an 8-inch touchscreen, a backup camera, Bluetooth streaming, heated mirrors, 4 USB ports and third-row seating. Safety is aided by 8 airbagsd, anti-lock brakes, stability control and traction control, as well as a blind-spot monitor, forward collision mitigation system, rear collision warning and pedestrian detection. For 2021 Toyota has also been trying to standardize much of their safety tech across their entire range, with the Highlander benefitting from that change as the new Toyota?s Safety Sense 2.5; Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, and satellite radio are all standard across the ranges.
