2021 Nissan Rogue

2021 Rogue Photos
The 2021 Nissan Rogue is Nissan’s bread-and-butter crossover. It competes in a bursting
segment and sells extremely well within it. Nissan’s new design for 2021 is blockier and
chunkier than before, opting to appeal to your sense of adventure more than urban life. The tech
is up to date, and those seeking lots of family-friendly space will find one of the roomiest cabins
in the segment. The Rogue continues to fall short when it comes to driving, though. The engine
is incapable of raising our pulse, and the ride and handling balance falls firmly on the
comfortable side of things. It’s a decent commuter car, but nothing more.

Everything about the 2021 Nissan Rogue is new. Nissan has upped its quality game in the higher trims with nice quilting on the seats, stitching on the dash and a more upscale feel in the cabin. The overall design is much improved. Tech dominates the driver’s field of view. Maxed out, the Rogue gets a nine-inch infotainment screen, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a large head-up display. Unfortunately, the powertrain is largely the same.

The 2021 Nissan Rogue is available in four trim levels: S, SV, SL and Platinum. Both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are available, and there is but one engine and transmission option. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder makes 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. It’s paired with a continuously variable transmission. With front-wheel drive, the Rogue is rated at 29 mpg combined. The all-wheel drive model drops down to 28 mpg combined. Add one mpg to both ratings for the base S trim.
