The Jeep Renegade is a compact sport-utility vehicle offering practicality, unique styling, 4x4 capability and a great value. The Jeep Renegade is offered with a choice between two 4-cylinder engines. A 1.3L turbocharged four makes 177 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque. It is standard on the Renegade Limited and Trailhawk and optional on the Sport and Latitude trims. The other engine in the lineup is the 2.4L Tigershark engine, rated at 180 hp and 175 lb-ft. It comes standard on Sport, Latitude, and Altitude models. Both engines send power to the wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and 4-wheel drive is an option on most trim levels, though the Trailhawk trim includes it as standard equipment. The 2021 Jeep Renegade is available in five distinct trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Altitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. Standard features include cloth upholstery, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, Uconnect with Bluetooth phone connectivity, a six-speaker audio system, a USB port, cruise control and push-button start. The Jeep Renegade standard safety features incudes Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection and Cross Path Detection. For 2021, the Jeep Renegade receives many new updates, including additional trims and new standard driver assist features. blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist. Some of the new trims include 80th Anniversary Edition and Islander Edition, they come with unique interior/exterior styling and special features. The Renegade also now comes standard with the larger 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
