2021 BMW X1

The X1 joined BMW's Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) lineup with a fresh interpretation of form meets function in the premium compact segment, blending unique styling, responsive driving dynamics and adaptable interior space. The X1 is available in two models: the X1 sDrive28i (front-wheel drive) and xDrive28i (all-wheel drive). Both are powered by a 228-hp 2.0-liter TwinPower turbo four-cylinder engine with auto start/stop function, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with manual shift. Every X1 features a power liftgate, 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, fog lights, leatherette upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth wireless connectivity/audio streaming and 2 USB ports. Safety-related equipment includes stability control with rollover sensor and integrated traction control, anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, and eight airbags. A rearview camera, auto high-beam, speed limit info, lane departure warning, forward collision mitigation and pedestrian detection. For the 2021 model year, the front grille is all-new and is now even bigger to no one's surprise. The refreshed bumper design makes the SUV look even sportier and aggressive than before. Just two trim levels are offered for the 2021 BMW X1 the four-wheel front-drive X1 sDrive28i, and all-wheel-drive X1 xDrive28i.
