The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT53 and 63 are 4-door sports coupes. The car is called a Coupe, yet has four doors like a sedan, and liftgate cargo access like a hatchback. The AMG GT 4-door Coupe is powered by a 429-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder or a biturbo 4.0-liter V8 capable of 577-hp or 630-hp. A 9-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels through the 4MATIC system. A limited-slip differential, 4-wheel disc brakes with brake assist, PRE-SAFE forward collision mitigation, Active parking assist and Blind Spot Assist are standard. Other notable standard equipment includes automatic dual-zone climate control, an HD satellite radio, cruise control, integrated navigation system and heated power leather seats. Available features include Nappa leather, Burmester surround sound, heated and ventilated power seats, and power rear cargo access. The AMG GT 4-door Coupe carries on for 2020 with minor changes.
