The Range Rover Velar is the newest member of the Range Rover family and brings avant-garde styling and elegance to the line-up. The Range Rover Velar is powered either by a 247-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, a 340- or 380-hp 3.0-liter supercharged V6 or a 550-hp supercharged 5.0-liter V8. All engines send their power to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission with rotary shifter and steering wheel paddles. Land Rover's Terrain Response four-wheel drive system is standard on all trims. Standard features common to all trims consist of full-LED headlights, satellite radio, dual-zone automatic climate control, two centrally located 10-inch touchscreens, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Condition Monitor, Blind Spot Assist, front and rear parking aid, panoramic sunroof, leather seating, powered tailgate, Meridian sound system, autonomous emergency braking, navigation system and passive keyless entry. Additional trim-dependent features include air suspension, 825W and 1600W Meridian audio systems, 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, 360 degree parking aid, 20-way power seats, heated rear seats and a wide selection of 19, 20, 21 and 22 inch wheels. For 2020, the D180 diesel engine is no longer offered. Blind Spot Assist, 4-way power lumbar, SiriusXM satellite radio and Smartphone Pack are standard now.
