2020 Land Rover Discovery
The Discovery is Land Rover's dynamic full-size SUV that shares an all-aluminum platform with the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. It combines responsive on-road performance with go-anywhere off-road capability in a single versatile package that still retains typical Land Rover levels of comfort and luxury. The Discovery is offered in four variants: SE, Landmark Edition, HSE and HSE LUXURY. Power is provided by either a 340-hp 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine, or a 254-hp 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 diesel (Td6); both are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and paddle shifters. Full-time four-wheel drive with Land Rover's acclaimed ""Terrain Response"" system and available All Terrain Progress Control help the Discovery tackle a wide range of off-road conditions. Trim-dependent standard features include: a panoramic glass roof, power inner tailgate, 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, front and rear heated seats, leather upholstery, three-zone automatic climate control, HD/satellite radio, Bluetooth wireless phone connectivity/audio streaming and InControl Apps smartphone integration, as well as InControl Touch with navigation and a 10.2-inch high resolution touchscreen; an available third row boosts seating capacity to seven. Safety equipment includes four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, electronic stability control with traction control and roll mitigation, a rear camera with park assist and six airbags. For 2020, a new Landmark Edition has been added to the line-up, and the SE has been updated with standard Blind Spot Assist and auto-dimming exterior mirrors.
