2020 F-250 Photos
The Ford F-250 is a revolutionary step forward in the full-size, heavy-duty pickup truck market. The F-250 has set itself apart from the competition by rethinking the entire segment and offering an all-aluminum body on all of its models to reduce the curb weight while maintaining both the expected payload and towing values. The all-aluminum body and pickup box reduces the curb weight by up to 350 lb. and this translates to better fuel efficiency with either the gas or diesel engines. The F-250 is available with a 4x2 or a 4x4 drivetrain and has three different cab configurations (regular, super and crew). The regular cabs are offered with an 8-foot box, the super and crew cabs are both offered with either a 6.75-foot box or an 8-foot box. Three engine choices include a 6.2-liter 385-hp Triton V8 with 430 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission or the optional and innovative 6.7-liter turbo 475-hp V8 Power Stroke diesel with an astounding 1050 lb.-ft. of torque coupled to a new 10-speed automatic transmission. New for 2020, a 7.3-liter 430-hp V8 gas engine paired with the new 10-speed automatic transmission is also offered. Both the 6-speed and the 10-speed TorqShift transmissions include SelectShift and a Tow/Haul mode. The F-250 is available in six trims and these include the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and the Limited. The F-250 offers standard amenities such as traction control and electronic stability control, a hill launch assist feature, six airbags including side curtains, air conditioning, a rear camera, manual tilt and telescoping steering wheel, SYNC and trailer sway control. The XLT adds many features including power and heated exterior mirrors, automatic high beams, 18-inch aluminum wheels, locking under seat storage compartments, SiriusXM satellite radio, SYNC 3, cruise control, power door locks with a remote keyfob, Ford Co-Pilot360 safety features and power windows. The Lariat adds to the features found on the XLT with LED spot lights on the exterior mirrors, an auto dimming interior rearview mirror, power leather front seats, automatic climate control, a premium B&O Play audio system, power adjustable pedals, a leather steering wheel and a power rear window with defrost. The King Ranch further adds to the Lariat features by offering illuminated running boards, a two tone paint application, heated and ventilated front seats with memory control for the driver, HD radio, a navigation system, Intelligent Access with a push button start, a remote start system, a wireless charging pad, a power operated tilt and telescoping steering wheel and the ultimate trailer tow camera system utilizing a 360 degree camera configuration with Pro Trailer Backup Assist. The Platinum trim also further adds to the Lariat trim by offering power running boards, adaptive speed-sensing steering, Quad LED head lamps and tail lamps, 20-inch aluminum wheels, multi-contour massaging front seats, heated rear seats, adaptive cruise control and the 360 degree camera configuration with Pro Trailer Backup Assist. The Limited trim adds to the content of the Platinum by coming standard with …
