2020 Ford Edge

The Ford Edge is a five-passenger mid-size crossover sport utility that answers the call for a roomy vehicle with appealing style, extensive features, and car-like handling. The Edge is offered in both front- and all-wheel drive configurations, with four trim levels ? SE, SEL, Titanium and (AWD only) ST. Power is supplied by either a 250-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, or a 335-hp 2.7-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6; both include Auto Start-Stop technology. A new eight-speed automatic transmission with available manual mode and paddle shifters is now standard. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: a hands-free power liftgate, 18- 19- or 20-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlights, heated front seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control and Intelligent Access with push-button start, along with HD/satellite radio, Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, two USB ports, FordPass Connect Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless device charging and an 8-inch touchscreen display. Safety features found on every Edge include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, traction control, MyKey parental controls and a rear view camera, as well as eight airbags. In 2019 Ford Co-Pilot360 was introduced as standard on every Edge this suite of driver assist technologies includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert, Lane Keeping System and auto high-beam headlamps. Other technologies, including Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, Evasive Steering Assist, and Active Park Assist, are also offered. The Ford Edge carries over into 2020 with minimal changes.
