The all-new redesigned 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD delivers a distinctive looking exterior with very capable payload and towing values. The Chevrolet Silverado is offered in both 4x2 and 4x4 models with either a single rear wheel (SRW) or a dual rear wheel (DRW) configuration as well as a diverse array of trims and several available options and unique packages. The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD truck comes with an 8-foot box and a 6.75-foot is offered on the SRW crew cabs. Four distinct trims are available and they include the Work Truck, LT, LTZ, and the High Country. The standard engine is a 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque 6.6-liter gasoline V8, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. An optional Duramax 6.6-liter with 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque is mated with a Allison 10-speed automatic transmission. Silverado HD trucks all receive a standard automatic locking rear differential, a bedside step, StabiliTrak with Proactive Roll Avoidance, an independent short and long arm front suspension and a trailering package that includes a hitch, 7 and 4-pin connectors and Hitch Guidance for facilitating reversing to hitch up a trailer. All Silverado model interiors come standard with six airbags, air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity and the Chevrolet infotainment system which allows convenient connectivity and voice recognition, several ports to support multiple devices and a 7 or 8-inch color touchscreen. The Work Truck trim includes manually extendable trailer tow mirrors, 18-inch steel wheels with all-terrain tires and a rear camera. The LT trim adds to the Work Truck with power and heated exterior door mirrors with turn signals, chrome front and rear bumpers, machined aluminum wheels, illuminated driver and passenger visor mirrors, cloth seat trim, cruise control, Chevrolet 4G LTE mobile hotspot, power door locks with remote keyless entry, Teen Driver restricted driving mode, a trailer brake controller and deep tinted windows. The LTZ trim expands on the LT standard equipment with the AutoTrac push button two-speed electronic transfer case on 4x4 models. The LTZ also offers chrome, power extending exterior mirrors with auto dimming functionality and LED spot lights, LED low and high beam headlamps and LED fog lights. The LTZ continues to expand on the LT standard equipment by offering heated driver and passenger power leather front seats with driver side memory, front and rear under-seat storage, SiriusXM HD satellite audio, Keyless Open/Keyless Start, a heated, telescoping steering wheel and a rear window defogger. The top Silverado trim, the High Country, adds to the already well equipped LTZ. The High Country comes standard with a polished exhaust pipe, a Chevytec spray-in bedliner, body-colored bumpers, LED pickup box lights, 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, ventilated front bucket seats, a heated rear seat, a Bose sound system with a subwoofer, a navigation system, a universal home remote, a wireless device charger and a power rear window.
