Base 2dr Rear-Wheel Drive Convertible
2020 BMW M4

The M4 is the new name for the high-performance version of the coupe it's derived from. The M4 shares it's mechanicals with the new M3 sedan, and together form the performance pinnacle in the 3/4-series line-up. The M4 is available as a coupe or convertible and is powered by a twin turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder engine that produces 425 horsepower (444 if you add the Competition Package) and 406 lb-ft of torque. All that power is driven through the rear wheels via two different transmissions, either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed double-clutch, and an Active M differential. 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability control, 18- 19 or 20-inch forged aluminum wheels and M sport suspension to keep things under control. The roof of the coupe is carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), which helps to lower weight and the center of gravity. The driveshaft and front end strut brace are also made of CFRP. Available options include satellite radio, park distance control, surround view cameras, adaptive LED headlights, head-up display, high-beam assistant, lane change warning and carbon ceramic brakes. For 2020 the M4 carries over unchanged.
