2019 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

2019 Highlander Hybrid Photos
The Toyota Highlander Hybrid is based on the popular Highlander SUV, boasting a more environmentally-friendly gas-electric hybrid engine that delivers excellent fuel economy and lower emissions. There are six trim levels offered on the 2019 Toyota Highlander: LE, LE Plus, XLE, SE, Limited and Limited Platinum trim levels. It employs an advanced Hybrid Synergy Drive system ? a 231-hp 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine with a high-torque electric drive motor-generator ? producing 306 net horsepower and mated to an electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission.Trim specific standard equipment includes 18-inch wheels, an Entune stereo with a 6.1-inch touchscreen, a backup camera, Bluetooth streaming, heated mirrors, 5 USB ports and third-row seating. Safety is aided by anti-lock brakes, stability control and traction control, as well as optional items like a blind-spot monitor. Of course, should an accident occur, the Highlander is equipped with eight airbags to help minimize any possible damage to its occupants. The Highlander enters into 2019 mostly unchanged aside from aesthetic updates to the body-side rocker panels in black, chrome accents, and darkened updates to the headlights, taillights and fog light housings.
