2019 M2 Photos

2019 BMW M2

The M2 Competition is based on the 2-series platform but is easily distinguished by its larger fenders and aggressive fascia front and rear. The M2 Competition is powered by a twin-scroll turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder engine that produces 405 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. All that power is driven through the rear wheels via two different transmissions, either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed double-clutch, and an Active M differential. High-performance anti-lock brakes with compound cross-drilled discs work with electronic stability control, staggered 19-inch forged aluminum wheels and M sport suspension to keep things under control. Standard features include satellite radio with a 12 month trial, LED headlights, auto stop-start, M Sport exhaust with electrically controlled sound flap and launch control when equipped with the optional double-clutch transmission. An optional Executive Package adds heated steering wheel, adaptive LED headlights with high-beam assistant, wireless charging, WiFi hotspot, and speed limit info. For 2019, the M2 Coupe has been replaced by the M2 Competition, with more power, improved handling and braking as well as the Active Driving Assistant which includes collision and pedestrian warnings as well as lane departure warning.
