2018 Jeep Compass

The Compass is an affordable compact SUV, designed to bring the Jeep name to a broader range of drivers with its car-like on-road capability and fuel economy. The Jeep Compass is available in FWD and 4x4, while the Sport, Latitude and Limited trims are shared the Trailhawk trim is only available on the 4x4. Powered is provided by a 180-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual or a six- or nine-speed automatic transmission. Trim specific standard equipment include 16- 17- or 18-inch aluminum wheels, front fog lights, heated mirrors, bucket front seats, automatic dual-zone climate control, SiriusXM satellite radio, Uconnect, Bluetooth, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and cruise control with steering wheel mounted controls. Safety features such as seven airbags, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, and a ParkView rear camera come standard. An Advanced Safety & Lighting Group package can be added which adds Auto High Beam Headlamp Control, Lane Departure Warning Plus and an auto-dimming rear view mirror. A Cold Weather Group package with all-season floor mats, heated front seats, a heated leather wrapped steering wheel and windshield wiper de-icer is also available. The Navigation Group package integrates features such as Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, GPS Navigation and an HD radio. The Safe & Secure Group adds features such as Blind Spot & Cross Path Detection, a ParkSense Rear Park Assist System, rain sentitive wipers and a security alarm. The Jeep Compass gets upgrades to options and packages which include more safety features for 2018.
