2017 Highlander Hybrid Overview

The Toyota Highlander Hybrid is based on the popular Highlander SUV, boasting a more environmentally-friendly gas-electric hybrid engine that delivers excellent fuel economy and lower emissions.The 7-passenger Highlander Hybrid is available in an all-wheel drive configuration only, with four trim levels: LE V6, XLE V6, Limited V6 and Limited Platinum V6. It employs an advanced Hybrid Synergy Drive system - a 295-hp 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine with a high-torque electric drive motor-generator - producing 306 net horsepower and mated to an electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission. Notable (trim-dependent) equipment includes: a power rear liftgate, power moonroof, 19-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, heated/ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, three-zone automatic climate control, passive entry/push-button start, HD/satellite radio, Bluetooth wireless connectivity/audio streaming and 5 USB ports, as well as the Navigation and App Suite, featuring an 8-inch touch-screen with split screen display, voice activation, internet access and smartphone integration.
