2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata
The MX-5 Miata is Mazda's sleek convertible sports car for those who appreciate high performance mixed with a little well-engineered fun. The MX-5 Miata roadster is powered by a 155-hp direct injection SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine, which is mated to either a six-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. Trim levels include Sport, Club and Grand Touring; standard safety equipment on all trims include dual front airbags, seat mounted side impact airbags, stability and traction control, tire pressure monitoring, engine immobilizer and anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution. The top-of-the-line Grand Touring trim is also standard with lane departure warning and adaptive headlights with high beam control. The MAZDA CONNECT system is standard on the Club and GT and it includes a 7-inch touchscreen, HD radio, internet radio, SMS messaging and emergency 911 notification. For 2017, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert have been added as standard equipment to the Club trim.
