2017 Kia Optima Plug-In Hybrid

The Kia Optima Plug-In Hybrid is a four-door mid-size sedan that offers efficiency and luxury at a reasonable price point. For 2017, the Optima Plug-In Hybrid cements itself in Kia's range of eco-friendly vehicles. The Optima Plug-In Hybrid provides efficiency and power via it's hybrid drivetrain; a 154-hp 2.0-liter gas engine combined with Kia's all-new 56-kW electric motor, totalling a net 202-hp. It has an all-electric range of 29 miles and can be charged at 120V or 240V. The hybrid system is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic shifting. Some of the features available on the Optima Plug-In Hybrid include 17-inch alloy wheels, dynamic LED headlights, unique blue accents throughout the vehicle, power adjustable heated leather seating with memory functions, panoramic sunroof, push-button start, UVO eServices with navigation, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and a premium ten-speaker Harman Kardon 630-watt surround sound system. Safety features include four-wheel ABS, traction and stability control, seven airbags, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Forward Collision Warning, and a Rear Park Assist System. The Kia Optima Plug-In Hybrid is an all new vehicle for 2017. It joins the Optima and Optima Hybrid in the Kia's family of mid-size sedans.
