2016 Ford Expedition

2016 Expedition Photos
The Expedition is Ford's largest utility vehicle and can easily compete for the most space while accommodating eight passengers. When equipped with four-wheel drive, the Expedition can get you there whether the road is dry, wet, snowy, or even when there's hardly any road at all. For 2016 the Expedition is available in five trims: XL, XLT, Limited, King Ranch and Platinum. All are powered by a new 365-hp 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with either rear-wheel drive or electronically engaged four-wheel drive. Trim specific standard equipment includes 17- 18- or 20-inch aluminum wheels, auto-dimming rear view mirror, cruise control, heated mirrors, navigation, remote keyless entry and a security system. A Class IV trailer hitch and trailer sway control are standard and give the Expedition towing capacities in the 6000-pound range. Safety equipment includes six airbags, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, emergency brake assist, low tire pressure warning, BLIS Blind Spot Information System, LED fog lights and a power liftgate. The Ford Expedition carries over with minimal changes for 2016.
