The 2016 Ferrari 488 GTB is Ferrari's top-level car. It features a 6.3L V12 engine that makes 731 horsepower through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Ferrari claims the car will launch from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds, all while returning an EPA-estimated 11 mpg city and 16 mpg highway. Standard 20-inch alloy wheels are wrapped with Michelin Pilot SuperSport tires. The headlights are HID and the brake lights are full LED. The wipers are rain-sensing. A standard navigation system comes in the form of a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, which is integrated into the audio system. It features 2 USB ports, iPhone integration and steering-wheel controls. Inside, the F12 is typical Ferrari luxury, with dual-zone climate control, leather seats and remote keyless entry. Several seat designs and materials allow buyers to customize their in-cabin experience. Front and side-mounted airbags as well as front and rear parking sensors are also included. Like most exotics, The F12 is extraordinarily customizable. An array of 26 exterior paint options and 15 interior colors, including 2-tone options are offered as are 5 different varieties of 20" wheels, and 6 different brake caliper colors. Carbon fiber panels can be added just about everywhere inside and out, seats can be had in Recaro 16-way power adjustable and heated, or carbon fiber racing style. Among the many other options, a system to lift the front suspension to assist in negotiating curbs and speed bumps is also available. The Ferrari 488 GTB is new for 2016. Based on a major rework of the 458 chassis, the 488 gets a new turbocharged V8.
