Cadillac Model Names
Almost everyone knows what an Escalade is.Almost no one knows what an ATS, CTS SRX is.Cadillac should resurrect:Fleetwood, Coupe de Ville, Sedan de VilleLincoln has done this with the Continental.
I've been driving the ATS 3.6 L Cadillac for 3 years now. What an absolute pleasure to drive. Fast, nimble, responsive.I actually enjoy getting to work. No problems with the car. And I get all kinds of great comments on the blue color.
A few months ago I traded in a C6 Corvette to purchase a 2016 ATS with the 3.6L V6. The car's handling is impeccable and feels very 'vette-like without undo harshness. Brakes are awesome too. The V6 gives VERY respectable performance while returning about 22 MPG for the combination of city/highway driving that I do (which is very biased towards city). Lots of bells and whistles on this vehicle, some I love, a few I could do without (like lane departure). I have mixed feelings on the engine auto-stop feature ******** not too onerous to push a button to turn it off when traffic conditions warrant. So far I've had no problems with the vehicle and no complaints. It is equally suited to comfortable cruising in comfort and more spirited driving. This is possibly the best car I've ever owned.
Love my 2016 ATS AWD
This is my second ATS and compared to the 2013 model it has complete improved substantially. This one has AWD and the 2.0 turbo, it's not as powerful as the 3.6 but is still plenty quit and feels lighter. I love it! Still fun as heck to drive as always but now I can actually use the CUE system which has been refined to the point where I like it more then the Apple CarPlay.
