2015.5 Volvo S60
The Volvo S60 is a sporty, dynamic sedan combining excellent performance and great design with outstanding safety features. For the 2015.5 model year Volvo has dropped the Premier Plus trims. The S60 is available as a front-wheel or all-wheel drive T5, as a front-wheel drive T6, or as an all-wheel drive T6 R-Design. Included on the T5 FWD is a Volvo Drive-E engine, a direct-injected turbocharged 240-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The T6 FWD includes a 302-hp version of the Drive-E four-cylinder engine. Both Drive-E engines are matched with an 8-speed Geartronic automatic transmission. The T5 AWD includes a turbocharged 250-hp 2.5-liter five-cylinder and the T6 R-Design AWD has the Polestar upgrade equipped turbocharged 325-hp 3.0-liter inline-6 engine. Both all-wheel drive models include a 6-speed Geartronic automatic transmission. Drive-E engines include Start/Stop technology. Standard equipment includes dynamic stability traction control (DSTC) with advanced stability control, and corner traction control with torque vectoring. Safety features include City Safety, whiplash protection front headrests (WHIPS), anti-lock brakes, and six airbags. Sirius satellite radio, Volvo Sensus infotainment system, and Bluetooth with audio streaming are standard. The T5 includes T-Tec cloth upholstery, the T6 and R-Design have standard leather upholstery. Optional equipment includes a power moonroof, navigation system, an upgraded premium audio system, rear seat entertainment system with dual DVD players, and xenon high-intensity headlights with washers. Volvos' commitment to safety includes available features such as park assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, collision warning with full auto brake, driver alert, active high beam, and road sign information. The Volvo S60 sedan is a carryover for the 2015.5 model year.
