2015 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid

The Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid combines legendary Porsche sports car performance with SUV utility, hybrid efficiency and all-condition capability. The all-wheel drive, five-passenger Cayenne E-Hybrid is powered by a supercharged 333-hp 3.0-liter V6 engine and a 95-hp electric motor. Combined, the hybrid system provides 416-hp and 435 ft-lbs of torque through an eight-speed automatic with auto stop-start. The new battery is now lithium-ion and has a capacity of 10.8 kWh, which allows electric power-only driving. Standard safety features include Porsche Stability Management (PSM), adaptive brake lights, Bi-Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED rear light clusters, seven airbags, including a driver side knee bag, rain sensing wipers and four-wheel anti-lock brakes. Options include such niceties as a conventional moonroof or a panoramic roof system, power memory seats, a Bose surround sound system, auto-dimming mirrors, a power liftgate and self-leveling air suspension. For 2015, the Cayenne E-Hybrid is now a plug-in hybrid with a larger battery and more powerful electric motor than the previous Hybrid model. To go along with this change, the Cayenne E-Hybrid has been refreshed inside and out.
