2015 Outlander Sport Owner Reviews (2)
Pretty darned good for the price!
I just bought a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport ES 4WD, and so far, so good. The negotiated price (without any trade in or financing) was tremendous; shop dealers, as some will discount very deeply. Now to the car. I like it a lot, mostly because I came into this purchase with certain expectations, and they have been met. This was a late 2015 manufactured vehicle and doesn't seem to have a lot of quirks I have read about. Styling is very good, with high profile 18" wheels, drives and handles very good (except turns, where it is not sporty) and I just completed a 610 mile trip with it, experiencing almost all good things (mileage was slightly worse than advertised). Coming with all the essential, power door locks/ windows/ mirrors etc, cruise, nicely tinted windows, decent pick up with a little pep all in a Pearl Black. The 4WD button is interesting in that the first ******** goes into AWD, and the next push puts it into Locking 4WD. Instrument panel is pleasant with some good info selections. All in all, for what I paid, it is a roaring steal with a great warranty.
New Outlander Sport GT

I purchased the new 2015 OS GT model with the touring package. WOW! Very nice SUV. We've owned Mitsubishi products for the last 20 years or so with excellent results. So when it became time to get a new car, we decided on the new and improved Outlander Sport GT. What I really like: the new engine is perfect for the smaller version of the Outlander. Nice pep on acceleration and reasonable gas mileage of 24-29 just driving around. The touring package comes with leather seats (heated), navigation, and the panoramic roof! The seats are comfy, the nav system nicely laid out and functional, and the panoramic roof, especially on cloudy days and at night is too darn cool! And the backlighting of the roof is really nice at night. And, did I mention a ******** Rockford Fosgate system with 12" woofer, coupled with AM/FM/Satellite radio, Bluetooth capable, and CD player? Jamming out with the panoramic roof is NICE! Steering wheel controls for the radio, wipers that start with the rain, headlights that automatically come on at night are also convenience features that drivers will love. The OS ride is adequate and comfy. And again, for the price the GT version has lots of bells and whistles that drivers will enjoy. There are no really drawbacks to the OS that I've found in the just the month or so of ownership. But, it looks great, sounds great and gets attention wherever it goes. It could be a bit larger, but, I was okay with the size when I bought it. It is not designed to haul big items. All in all I love the OS GT!
