The Nissan NV Passenger Van expands on the NV commercial van series, offering heightened comfort levels, seating flexibility and enhanced standard safety features. The twelve-passenger rear-wheel drive NV Passenger NV3500HD is available in five trim levels: S V6, S V8, SV V6, SV V8 and SL V8. Power is provided by either a 261-hp 4.0-liter V6 engine or a 317-hp 5.6-liter V8, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment on the S grade includes 17-inch wheels, durable cloth upholstery, air conditioning with rear HVAC system and a CD player; also, second, third and fourth row split-bench seats are partially or fully removable for times when additional cargo space is required. The SV grade adds chrome exterior elements, power front windows, a power driver's seat, cruise control, remote keyless entry, rear parking sensors and a security alarm system. The top-of-the-line SL grade is further equipped with fog lights, heated front seats, leather upholstery for all rows of seating, front dual-zone automatic climate control and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, along with front and rear parking sensors. All trim levels are also outfitted with a multifunction floor console, featuring a sliding table and dedicated lockable storage for items such as clipboards, folders and a laptop. Safety equipment includes anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, stability and traction control systems, front seat side airbags and curtain airbags for all rows of seating. Available options include a Technology Package that incorporates Bluetooth wireless connectivity, a USB port, satellite radio and a navigation system with rearview monitor. The 2014 Nissan NV Passenger NV3500HD, with the V8 engine, now comes standard with an HD battery, tow mode, 7-pin connector pre-wiring, and class IV receiver hitch, for up to 8,700 pounds of hauling ability.
