2012 Lexus GX 460

The seven-passenger Lexus GX 460 is designed for active families, balancing functionality and comfort; it can handle real off-road duties. Available in two trims, Base and Ultra Premium, the GX 460 uses proven body-on-frame construction with a solid rear axle and full-time four-wheel drive, which features a locking Torsen? center differential. A 301 hp DOHC 4.6-liter V8 and 6-speed automatic transmission with sequential shifting provide ample power for towing and improved fuel economy. Inside, the GX 460 is quiet and luxurious. The standard luxury items include: satellite radio, leather heated and ventilated power front seats, back-up camera, proximity keyless entry with push button start, automatic dual zone air conditioning, Bluetooth capability, and a power moonroof. Standard safety features include a class-leading 10 airbags, active front headrests, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and first aid kit. For 2012, the standard model receives a body colored side protection molding, as standard equipment. The Ultra Premium also receives more standard equipment, a new unique alloy wheel finish.
