New for 2012, Advance Trac with Roll Stability Control is now standard on all Van models. Available as a van or wagon, the front-wheel drive Transit Connect is powered by a proven 136-hp 2.0-liter Duratec four-cylinder engine, matched with a four-speed automatic transmission. Sliding rear and split-opening back doors are available with or without windows. The two-seater van is available as an XL or XLT and the five-seater wagon comes in XLT and XLT Premium trims. Standard features include Advance Trac w/RSC, front and side airbags, anti-lock brakes, front cloth bucket seats, a low maintenance vinyl floor behind the front seats, and full 180? opening back doors. XLT trims add power locks, windows, exterior mirrors and remote keyless entry. The XLT Premium Wagon includes vented third-row windows and upgraded audio. Ford Works Solutions include Mobility Packages, Taxi Packages, a CNG/LPG engine Prep package, and In-Dash Computer and interior shelving options. The 2012 Ford Transit Connect is a carryover from 2011.
