2012 Suburban 2500 Overview

The Toyota Camry Solara coupe features the practicality of a truly useful rear seat and adds style to your lifestyle without the cost and impracticality of a true sports car.The Solara is available in coupe or convertible bodies. It comes in three trims: SE, Sport, and SLE. Coupes come with either a 155 hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder or a 210 hp 3.3-liter V-6. Convertibles come only with the V-6. Five passengers fit in the coupe and four in the convertible. The V-6 is controlled by a five-speed automatic and the I-4 can be equipped with either a five-speed automatic or manual transmission. For 2007, the Camry Solara gets slightly redesigned. The Toyota Matrix combines the style and fun of a sport coupe with the utility of a small sport utility at the price of a compact.Toyota Matrix is available in two trim lines: the standard Matrix and XR. It is front-wheel-drive and is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 126 horsepower. Safety is enhanced by ordering optional side curtain and seat-mounted side-impact airbags. The available Vehicle Stability Control virtually eliminates skidding. Optional anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution can help the driver maintain steering control in an emergency braking situation. For 2007, the Toyota Matrix is no longer available in XRS trim and all-wheel-drive.The Toyota Yaris has good looks, suave road manners, perky performance and a well-tailored interior that establish new benchmarks in the entry-level game. The Yaris is available both as a three-door hatchback and four-door sedan. Just one level of liftback is being offered, but the sedan can also be ordered as a sportier S model. All Yaris models are powered through the front wheels by a small but sophisticated 1.5-liter engine with an output of 106 horsepower. A five-speed manual transmission is standard while a four-speed automatic is optional. Since the liftback and sedan were designed separately, there are minor differences in such areas as interior trim and materials and dashboard layout, but each is similarly equipped. The standard running gear consists of P175/65R14 radials on 14-inch steel wheels, and the brakes are front ventilated discs and rear drums. The suspension is independent in front and torsion beam in the rear. The 2012 Chevrolet Suburban retains the same maximum-size virtues that have made it a bestseller for so many years. It remains the first choice for anyone who needs to haul six or more people plus their cargo. The Suburban 2500 is available in LS and LT trims in both two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. It can seat up to eight passengers in its three rows of seats. The 2500 comes standard with a 352-hp 6.0-liter flexible-fuel V8 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. All-disc anti-lock brakes, traction control, side curtain airbags and GM's StabiliTrak electronic stability system with rollover mitigation are standard. For 2012, trailer sway control and Hill Start Assist become standard on all trims.
