2011 Corolla Overview

The Toyota Corolla is a front-wheel drive five-passenger compact sedan, well-known for being reliable and economical, yet refined and comfortable. For 2011 Toyota has dropped the XRS and XLE trims.The Corolla comes in three trims: Base, S, and LE. The powertrain is a 132 horsepower, 1.8-liter dual VVT-I engine, matched with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. All models come standard with front, side-impact and side-curtain airbags, ABS with brake assist, and whiplash protecting front seat active head restraints. Air conditioning and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control are standard on all models. Available features include cruise control, 16-inch wheels, fog lamps, and a tilt-and-slide power moonroof.The 2011 Toyota Corolla is a carryover from 2010 with the XRS and XLE trims dropped.The rear-wheel drive BRZ is powered by a 205-hp or 200-hp 2.0-liter flat boxer 4-cylinder engine with both direct and port injection and matched with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Its sporty nature is further strengthened by including a Torsen limited-slip differential as standard equipment. Standard equipment includes 17-inch aluminum wheels, ventilated disc brakes front and rear, automatic LED headlamps, voice-activated navigation, and an audio system with HD radio, eight speakers and Bluetooth connectivity. Front seats are comfortable sport buckets and the rear seatback folds forward to create more storage space. Safety features include six airbags, rear view camera, stability control, traction control, and brake assist. Available features include leather/alcantara seats, keyless start, heated front seats, and heated exterior mirrors.
