2011 62 Photos
The Maybach 62 is an ultra-luxury high-performance sedan that is intended to be chauffeur-driven. It is nearly identical to the Maybach 57, but its longer wheelbase provides more interior space for rear passengers. Changes for 2011 include a restyled exterior with new wheels and a boost in horsepower for the 62S. The Maybach 62 is available in two trims: base and S. The base model is equipped with a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine capable of 543 horsepower and 664 lb.-ft. of torque. The S model is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine that produces 620 horsepower (up 16 from 2010) and 738 lb.-ft. of torque. Standard equipment includes electronically controlled air suspension with variable ride height, stability control with traction control, new 19-inch alloy wheels, power sunroof, bi-xenon high intensity headlights, SmartKey remote entry, multi-contour heated power front and rear seats with memory, power telescoping and pivoting lower leg support with pivoting footrest for rear seats, hand-fitted leather seat trim, hand-polished wood and leather trim on nearly every surface, Bose sound system with 21 speakers, rear audiovisual system with dual video monitors and DVD player, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation system, and Parktronic parking assist with rear camera. The S trim features monotone paint, carbon fiber and piano black interior trim and new 20-inch alloy wheels. Options include three-place rear seating, ventilated front and rear seats, electro-transparent rear roof section, solar module for cabin ventilation system, and customer-specified paint schemes and interior materials. A new optional 19-inch cinema screen can be mounted to the partition wall. Updates for 2011 include a restyled exterior with a raised hood, larger grille, divided bumper, LED daytime running lights and darker tail lenses. Interior changes include .925 sterling silver badging in seat backrests, new seat stitching and new interior colors, trims and paints.
