2010 Lotus Elise

The Lotus Elise is a small performance roadster that handles and performs like a race car. The Elise is available in two trims: the base model and the SC. The Elise's incredible handling is made possible by a bonded extruded aluminum chassis, four-wheel-independent suspension, Eibach coil springs, Bilstein gas shock absorbers, AP Racing/Brembo brakes, multi-spoke alloy wheels, and Yokohama performance tires. The base Elise is powered by a 189-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual transmission. The SC uses the same 1.8-liter four-cylinder, but a supercharger boosts output to 218 horsepower. The available Touring Pack includes insulated soft top, full leather seats, upgraded stereo system with iPod connector, stowage net, additional sound insulation and full carpet set. The optional Sport Pack provides lightweight forged alloy wheels, sport tuned suspension, twin oil coolers, traction control and ProBax sport seats. A limited-slip differential is also available. For 2010, the new Performance Value Package includes the Touring Pack, body color hard top, Lotus Variable Traction Control (TCS), upgraded Alcantara enhanced interior with choice of Light Grey, Red or Blue contrasting trim, sport seats, 16-spoke alloy wheels in silver or black with matching rear diffuser, Yokohama A048 LTS tires, Lotus sport tuned suspension with sport springs and Bilstein shocks, and twin oil coolers. The 2010 model is carried over from 2009.
