2009 Range Rover Photos
The Land Rover Range Rover is the brand's most prestigious offering, a luxury sport utility vehicle with a long history of quality craftsmanship and legendary go anywhere off-road prowess. The five-passenger Range Rover is available in two trim levels: HSE and Supercharged. The HSE is powered by a 305-hp 4.4-liter V8 engine, while the Supercharged trim boasts a 400-hp 4.2-liter supercharged V8. Both powerplants are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with CommandShift manual shift mode; full-time four-wheel drive with Land Rover's acclaimed 'Terrain Response' system and an electronic air suspension help tackle a wide range of off-road conditions. Standard equipment on HSE trims includes a power sunroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, heated leather seats, satellite radio, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a navigation system; Supercharged trims are further outfitted with 20-inch wheels, an adaptive front lighting system, cooled front seats and upgraded interior trim elements (all optional on the HSE). Standard safety features include nine airbags, four-wheel anti-lock brakes with brake assist, electronic stability control with traction control and roll mitigation, front and rear fog lights, park assist and tire pressure monitoring. For 2009, the Land Rover Range Rover carries over with minimal changes. A new optional Autobiography Package debuts on the Supercharged trim, including exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels, extended leather and wood trim elements, four-zone climate control and a rear seat entertainment system.
