The Ford Ranger has been America's best-selling compact pickup for 17 years running. As a work truck, the Ford Ranger offers serious truck capability at affordable prices. Available transmissions include a standard five-speed manual gearbox and an optional five-speed automatic. Safety features such as four-wheel antilock brakes and dual-stage front airbags come standard. For 2008, the Ford Ranger is a carryover from 2007 with a redesigned front bumper.
