The GMC Savana is the largest cargo and passenger van produced by the company. They come in regular and extended lengths. All Savanas are standard with 16-inch wheels and a solid axle rear suspension with multileaf springs and gas shocks. Savana passenger vans can seat up to 15 people. They comes with the option of five different engines: a 195 hp 4.3-liter V-6, a 285 hp 4.8-liter V-8, a 295 hp 5.3-liter V-8, a 345 hp 6.0-liter V-8, and a 250 hp 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V-8. Savanas come in rear- and all-wheel drive and are equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul mode. For 2007, the GMC Savana remains largely unchanged. It does receive some small engine changes such as the ability for some to run off of flex-fuel.
