Chevrolet has cornered the marked on a comfortable ride in their half ton Silverados. Unfortunately, my Silverado turned out to be very unreliable. It had to be towed back to the Chevy dealer three times in less than three years. Since it is a hybrid, it usually takes them more time to work on it, because there aren't many of them out there. The first time the stator went & it took two weeks to fix. The second time, it was the sending unit & it took a week to fix. To top things off, my gas tank was empty when I picked up the truck. They swore they didn't have to drain the gas for anything. I put $20 in it the day it broke down. You be the judge. Now, it is currently in the shop once again getting the stator replaced. This time, it broke a bolt in the torque converter, & wrecked the fly wheel. We're going to be at about two weeks again. This time, it took me two days to get a rental from them. Customer service is not Chevrolet's strong point. My wife and I have owned twelve General Motors automobiles, and I can honestly say that I will never buy another one. My next truck will be a Toyota. Thanks for taking care of your loyal customers GM.
