Have had my LR3 for a few years now.. Been a good car. Handles well..Solid..Cool Looking..Would buy another in a few years.

Incredible rugged yet sophisticated looks and design versatility ensuring eye catching use ranging from off road to valet parking at your favorite restaurant...but don't get caught in the rain. This is my second LR and very likely will be my last. Both sun roofs leaked like a spaghetti strainer! Lots of wind noise to keep you awake on those long trips, ongoing electrical issues to keep you guessing and far too frequent trips to the service department to ensure the dealers source of revenue. Don't count on your GPS nav. system to get you there either. The touch screen might as well be called a punch screen, given the pressure required to activate it...no wonder the salesman told me "don't baby it". Defective A/C blower fan, (replaced twice), electric key fob failure both keys at the same time, (service said they "just wear out", wanted about $300 to replace them...funny mine both started working again after a few weeks. Gosh, I wonder if it could be the vehicle computer controller instead), short in driver window switch, (don't hit a bump while the window is operating, it will reverse direction) , defective air suspension switch, (replaced twice), fluctuating engine RPM on cruise, (engine computer control error), rear door rattle, (service can't find anything, maybe they can't hear it above the wind noise), headliner loosening, (I wonder if that could be related to the water pouring through the sunroof, hmmm? oh well, probably not, they said they fixed that leak a couple of times ago!) But alas, according to our local LR Service Manager, "its normal to be in here at least five times a year". Pretty sad commentary for a manufacturer with such a worldwide reputation and decades of luxury SUV experience!
