The highly anticipated and sporty R32 is a more performance oriented vision of Volkswagens Golf/GTI family. With its power, speed, and aero kit bumpers and side rocker panels, the R32 performs like a true sports car in a deceptively modest looking two-door hatchback body. The R32 gets its name from the 3.2-liter 240-hp 15-degree VR6 engine. The only transmission choice is a six-speed manual. Standard equipment includes 4MOTION all-wheel-drive, 18-inch alloy wheels with summer performance tires, blue-powder-coated four-piston brake calipers, four-wheel independent sport suspension, heated sport bucket front seats, power sunroof, power windows, doors and locks, keyless entry, leather steering wheel, electronic climate control, a multi-function trip computer, and chrome exhaust tips.
