Great Sport Sedan

The car's handling was good when it was stock. I've upgraded to sport lowering springs and now the car handles like it's on rails. Reduced/almost elminated nose dive under hard braking which in turn has made it stop quicker. Rear squat under hard acceleration has also been eliminated. Turn in is even quicker than when it was stock. Lightning quick turn in. I've also added some performance modifications that have awaken an already impressive performer. Cold air intake, plenum, a full exhaust and dyno tune have made this car quicker than many modern sport sedans. My G35x is able to pull from brand new WRXs and walk from new Suburu STIs. This is a 15 year old car pulling away from a 300hp awd car with modern technology. My X has withstood the test of time with only typical maintenance and no major problems. It has a timeless design. It still turns heads and can surprise many modern cars. Truely an awesome sedan from Japan!

I love this car, however I had to return it after getting stuck in winter snow, also there were a couple annoyances with the seat belt. Very uncomfortable and I had to many times open the door in order to put the seat belt on. oh well,,, maybe they will redesign it. I hope they do because everytime I see this car, I say wow, what is that?? Oh it's the car I used to own !!
Great sporty car
I really like this car as the handling is very tight and it has great pick up. I like the styling too with one exception, the view from the rear doesn't look so great. The mpg is average - I think around 26-28.
One surprise was that the front brakes and rotars wore out after only around 25K miles. I went online and found this was the case for all 2004 G35s and Infinity had amended the warranty to cover it. I brought it in to have it fixed and there was no problem.
Overall this car was a great value for the $31K I paid for it and I'm already looking at some of the newer models and considering upgrading - but my current one runs so well it seems unnecessary.
