Bought it used in 2006 it had 3,000 miles..Very sturdy, reliable van.Excellent on hills that are snow covered and Ski trips were a breeze..AWD really helps, makes winter driving so easy !! General maint..Oil changes, tires.Front rotors do seem to wear out fast on these, but I do drive fast and heavy on the brakes..About 35,000 miles I get out of the front rotors..Not a big deal, half hur to replace and $150 ,cheap and easy..Van was reliable the pulley tensioner bearings went around 110,000 miles..Engine and transmission worked perfect, never broke down, never had any issues at all.Great reliable van with the only issue being the pulley tensioner, but my 2008 Toyota Camry did the same thing too around the same mileage. So,it had 185,000 problem free miles,RELIABLE !!!.3.8 moved the van decently..Never any engine, suspension or transmission problems, always started and ran smooth and looked like new when I sold it ! Only issue pulley tensioner bearings at 110,000 my a/c stopped blowing cold around 100,000,got it recharged and still blew cold when I sold it ..Besides that 11 years of problem free reliable driving 185,000 miles on the van,it had 3,000 miles when I bought it dealer demo She used it for the winter lol.. The Dodge had fewer problems than my 2008 Toyota Camry and the Dodge has 65,000 more miles !!! Sold the Dodge Caravan for a new 2015 Chrysler 300 S AWD,so far a beauty....with 32,000 problem free miles, did nothing to it but drive !!
Couldn't pay me to take another one

2000 characters is not enough to even begin to tell the tale of troubles with this vehicle but wanted to share this. Expect NO help from Chrysler if you have issues with a dealership, especially if it not a 5 star dealership. I wouldn't recommend buying another Chrysler to anyone. But if you MUST be sure to contact Chrysler FIRST to find one of their 5 star dealerships, or trust me, you will greatly regret it later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This things has not run right since practically day one but they could never find a problem, and if they did it was never covered under warrenty even thought we spent extra on the extended/additional coverage warrenty!
