2000 Toyota Avalon
Twenty or 30 years ago, is this what people imagined the 2000 sedan would be like? Did engineers expect such solid, pragmatic progress to take place (and no car is a better example than this Avalon), or did they expect the public to want to be blasted into the next century by cars akin to spaceships?
