Overview

The Subaru Forester is a compact crossover vehicle that blends the best attributes of a sport-utility vehicle with the ride and driving dynamics of a car. It offers the capability of Symmetrical full-time All-Wheel Drive, as well as a versatile rear cargo area with liftgate, underfloor storage and up to 76 cubic feet of cargo capacity. The Forester is available in five trim levels: Base, Premium, Sport, Limited and Touring. All variants are equipped with a 182-hp 2.5-liter horizontally-opposed naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine and the transmission is a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Features, based on trim selection, include panoramic power moonroof, power liftgate, adaptive LED headlights, 17- or 18-inch aluminum wheels, automatic climate control, heated front seats, leather upholstery, HD/satellite radio, harman/kardon speakers, STARLINK, integrated navigation, USB ports, Bluetooth wireless phone/audio streaming and smartphone integration. Standard safety equipment, depending on trim, includes electronic stability and traction control systems, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, rear-vision camera, seven airbags and EyeSight technologies such as Lane Keep Assist, Pre-Collision Braking, Sway Warning, Reverse Automatic Braking, Blind Spot Detection and Adaptive Cruise Control. The Subaru Forester carries over with minimal changes for 2021.
