Overview

The all-new Seltos is Kia's adventure-ready crossover blending ruggedness and refinement with modern styling and sophistication. The Kia Seltos is powered by one of two engines, a 146-hp 2.0-liter four-cyllinder mated to a CVT transmission or a 175-hp 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder paired to a seven-speed auto-shift manual transmision. Trim specific standard features include 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, heated mirrors with turn signal indicators, Bluetooth, an 8-inch touchscreen display and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. The S, EX and SX trims add heated front seats, the EX also gets a power sunroof while the SX gets SiriusXM satellite radio, 8 Bose speakers, a 10.25-inch touchscreen display, leather upholstery and integrated navigation with voice activation. Safety features such as six airbags, a rear view camera, a tire specific low tire pressure warning system and 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, Downhill Brake Control (DBC) and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) and a Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) are all standard. All trims except for the LX also get a Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist-Ped and Driver Attention Warning (DAW) while the EX and SX trims add Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA-R) and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance-Assist (RCCA).
