Overview

The Volkswagen Golf is a compact German hatchback that sets the standard benchmark in a very crowded class. The front-wheel drive Golf is powered by a 147-hp 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine with the choice between either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. Trim specific standard equipment includes 16-inch aluminum wheels, heated mirrors, a power sunroof, LED daytime running lights, heated bucket front seats, Bluetooth, a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, VW Car-Net hotspot and VW App-Connect (w/Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) smart device connectivity. Safety features such as six airbags, a rear view camera, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, a post-collision braking system, a Blind Spot Monitor, Forward Collision Warning w/Autonomous Emergency Braking, Rear Traffic Alert and Pedestrian Monitoring are standard.
