Overview

The Kia Rio is offered in a stylish sedan or 5-door hatchback configuration. It features high standards not traditionally found in a small car. A sporty personality, impressive fuel economy, and high level of safety take priority in its design. The Kia Rio is powered by a 120-hp 1.6-liter Gamma II four-cylinder engine mated to a CVT transmission. Standard equipment includes 15-inch wheels, heated mirrors, bucket front seats, climate control, a 7-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto Connectivity. Safety features such as six airbags, a Rear View Monitor w/Parking Guidance Dynamic (RVM w/PG), low tire pressure warning system and 4-wheel anti-lock brakes with brake assist and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) are all standard. An optional technology package is available which add Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, LED headlights, LED positioning lights, a Supervision Meter Cluster and an Advanced Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The Kia Rio adds Apple CarPlay/Android Auto Connectivity and a 7-inch display as standard on both trims for 2020.
